Bath time!

Things are a little trickier now that Elloise doesn't fit in her baby tub, but she sure has fun!

Elloise has starting eating some baby food...so far so good! She loves to eat!

Elloise just got her first tooth at the beginning of the month. It hasn't seemed to cause her too much pain. She loves rubbing it with her tongue!

Elloise and I enjoyed the rest of Thanksgiving weekend in Deer River.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving at the Becks this year. Elloise tried her first food (rice cereal) and loved it! You would think she had been eating for years!

Elloise is loving her feet! Her favorite time of day, is diaper time...she gets those tight pants off, so she can really get the whole foot in her mouth!

Ok - I take that back!

We didn't buy a costume for Elloise, but she did dress up for the Beck Halloween party.

We didn't do the whole costume hooha this year, but Elloise enjoyed her 1st jack-o-lantern!

I'm so behind on this blog since we've been without a computer...so, i'll do my best to highlight the last couple months.

Elloise is growing bigger, cuter, and nosier every day. She's actually getting a little bit of hair on top - though it's hard to tell what color it will be.

Elloise has passed the 4 month mark and is more fabulous than ever! She had an appointment this week and measured up at 13 lb. 15 oz. and 24 inches. She is doing lots of giggling, smiling, and babbling. She's using her hands like an old pro and is very curious to touch and taste everything within her reach!

This weekend Elloise and I enjoyed a trip to Mahnomen. We spent our time getting to know Great-Grandma and Grandpa Houdek better and enjoying the beautiful weather!

This weekend was Jessica and Leland's wedding. Elloise made her debut as a party girl. She lasted through the wedding and reception without so much as a squawk! She couldn't take her bloodshot eyes off the swirling lights and dancing people!

Last month we had the Beck Summer Games!
Despite having the cutest cheerleader in the world, we only managed to bring home the silver. But we did get these great pictures taken!

Elloise is starting to interact more and more with her environment. She has better control with her hands, and is starting to hold and suck on toys. She likes to sit and visit - sometimes mimicking a face or a sound. She loves to smile and is almost giggling! I can't wait!

Elloise got to enjoy another weekend at the lake with G & G Houdek and her aunties.
She enjoyed some pontoons rides and even dipped her toes in the lake!

.....ya, I guess I do see the resemblance to Jacob.

It's so much fun watching Elloise make new discoveries...like her nose!

Elloise is growing and changing every day! She is learning some new tricks...doing lots of smiling, licking, blowing bubbles...jibber-jabbering...making cross-eyes at her hands. It's amazing to sit and watch her discover the world.

Elloise was baptized this morning. She screamed through the whole thing! But the day was beautiful and we enjoyed the company of many loved ones.

Elloise is growing and growing. We're all doing well, although she has been struggling with the occasional upset stomach.....we think. At these fussy times, her swing is a lifesaver! She loves it!

Elloise made her big debut with the Houdek clan this weekend in Bemidji. Although there were 7 new babies there, it was clear who was the best!

We spent the 4th in Deer River with Grandma and Grandpa Houdek, and Elloise had her first pontoon ride.

Elloise enjoyed her first trip to Hawley to visit Grandma & Grandpa Beck. We celebrated the 3rd of July there and had a wonderful time!

Today was Daddy's golden birthday! We enjoyed the beautiful day with the Beck clan.

Today Elloise is one month old, and she had her first bottle! Hooray!

The Becks came to our house on Sunday to celebrate Jacob's first Father's Day. He couldn't love his new role any more!

Elloise had her first doctor's appointment today. Everything went well. She measured up at 23 inches and 9 pounds 1 ounce! I guess you're bound to grow when all you do is eat and sleep!

The whole Houdek clan got together this week. Elloise got to meet her Auntie Jess and Becky and her Uncle Jay. We had a very nice time! Elloise is well on her way to being the most loved up baby in the world!

Elloise Annabel was born on Wednesday, May 28th at 4:59pm. She weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces and was 22 inches long. We're all doing well and wanted to let you know!
